Located off of the main roads but still in the city, you feel like you are in the country. This beautifully restored antique “masseria” makes for a wonderful setting on the patio in the summertime while the interior is warm and inviting. There is also plenty of easy parking. Great pizzas, fish dishes and steaks along with delicious traditional Sicilian pasta dishes. Sometimes there are large parties (weddings, etc) there so if you are a couple ask to be in one of the smaller rooms.

The DiQuattro palace built by the Duke San Filippo Arezzi following the earthquake of 1693 and subsequently acquired by the family DiQuattro, which occupies the upper floors of the restaurant. Its elegant facade along with the long balcony supported by its fifty mensole, is the setting for tables placed in the outdoor area in the summer, under the oleanders with their pleasant fragrance. The dining rooms are located in the lower level of the palace where the horses were fed and carriages were once stationed and now is the backdrop for the dining tables. A precious stone drinking trough made from local black stone was reserved for the favorite horse of the master.
