As expats from the United States living in Sicily, everyone we meet has the same question, "Why Sicily?"

Living in an area where you are constantly surrounded by extrordinary things to do, see, eat and drink, you tend to take them for granted. Those everyday things to the Sicilians are often awe-inspiring, delicious, ages old, unique and exceptional to the visitor or expat coming to Sicily. We have tried to compile a list of some of our favorite places to eat, see and stay in our area of Southeastern Sicily. Our hope is that it will help you when visiting or if you decide to move to this beautiful island of Sicily.
